Is There Really Any Sound Reasons To Invest In Natal

By: chelsea butterworth

One of the states on the very edge of the emerging global market for tourism is Rio do Grande Norte. Cheaper options for Brazilian Tourists for airlines, food, and lodging would be in the Brazilian town of Natal, which is closer to Europe and North America. This added to its unspoilt beaches, average temperatures of 30 °C and the development of the world’s future fourth largest airport. This is intended to increase tourism to five millions travellers each year, which is probably why more vacation packages and direct flights are being offered.

-Visitors of Natal will notice its famous coastline, with sapphire colour waters and palm trees dotting the coastline.
-Nearby activities include water activities and riding in sand dune buggies.
-Natal is the closest of Brazil’s regions to Europe, with a rapidly increasing tourist demand from Europe and North America, thus the government is constructing the World’s fourth largest airport
-The completion of the bridge that connects Natal to the beach resorts in 2007 was instrumental in reducing that journey time down to 25 minutes.
-It is at least 3 times cheaper to travel in the north than in the south.

Is there a reason we should invest in Rio do Grande Norte, one of the states of Brazil?

Way of Life
With flights of seven hours from Europe, because it's 4000km closer to Europe, Natal's flights are both shorter and cheaper, so it's becoming a popular destination for holidaying Europeans. In addition, Natal has also been voted Brazil's safest capital city.

The city of Natal, with an estimated population of almost one million, earns its nickname, The City of the Sun, from having an average temperature of 30C and sunshine 360 days a year.

Beaches

The breath-taking coastal route north of Natal City is one of Brazil's most spectacular natural attractions. The famous Genipabu Dunes and the Cabo de Sao Roque with its untouched white sand beaches, are ideal locations for swimming, a variety of water sports with many horse rides along the beach and dune buggies to ride on.

Relaxing with world-class scuba diving on the Maracajau Reef is very popular, or, for the more active, kite surfing and windsurfing are also popular.

Infrastructure and Travel Growth

European tourism levels, mainly from Portugal, Spain, Germany, Norway, Sweden & UK are increasing at a rapid pace. American Airlines is expected to be the first US airline next year to operate direct flights to Natal via Miami, five hour flight time, whilst British Airways will fly direct from London. Thomson is a Large tour operator offering holiday packages to Brazil and charters at incredibly attractive prices. A huge future tourism market for the entire globe is beginning. As a result, resort demand, rental rates, and land prices are all increasing at similarly rapid rates.

When Brazil once again hosts the FIFA world cup in 2014 there will be a even greater inflow of tourists. FIFA is obviously glad that local infrastructure is ready to deal with large volumes of people which is evidenced by their choice to let Brazil host the World Cup. Nineteen cities have shown concern in conducting the games and beneficiary looks to be possibly Natal which has a proposed development of a new 51,000 capacity arena to be built in the city.
