You shouldn't Buy from Ads for Cheap Software and Ebooks without Doing Research First

By: Marge Reed

You have just received an email or read an ad for cheap software that claims to make your online marketing much easier. It is advertised for $7, $10, $27 or $37.

Just back off for awhile, do some research first. If the software is genuinely new it should cost significantly more. Support for older cheaper versions of software will not usually not be included.. Case in point, I received an email from someone advertising Brainstorm Generator, keyword software. The program looked like it might be somewhat useful. The program cost was $10.
eBay usually tons of ads for cheap software and listings of many down loadable ebooks. I searched for ads for cheap software on eBay but I struck out. The results from a web search revealed a site marketing the same program for $2.95.

The research time was only 5 minutes. In another minute I determined that the software was over three years old and then had sold for nearly $300. That doesn't mean that the software might not be useful.
There are many forums, giveaway sites and promotions that will allow free ebook and software downloads. Searching for five minutes for a saving of seven dollars is worthwhile.

Lastly, more searching can often turn up sites where the software could be accessed for no cost whatsoever.
